How to use $oc Solver

  1. 1 Click on a cell to cycle through available colors:
    (Blue → Teal → Green → Yellow → Orange → Red).
Right-click cycles the colors in reverse.
  2. 2 Each empty cell shows its live probability of hiding the RED sphere; impossible cells are dimmed.
  3. 3 The highlighted cell is the expected-value best move - check the sidebar for other top candidates.
  4. 4 To clear the board and start again press Reset.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the tool work?

The Ouro Chest ($oc) minigame features a 5x5 grid where your goal is to find a single red sphere on the board. This interactive solver calculates the exact conditional probability of locating a red sphere on every unrevealed cell based on your board's current state. The algorithm highlights the optimal coordinate to click by accounting for grid boundaries and previous reveals.

Why is the center cell marked as impossible?

This comes down to the rules of $oc minigame: there's only 1 red sphere to find and it never spawns at the center of the board.

Does this solver guarantee finding a red sphere each time?

No. The minigame relies on random board generation. The solver uses spatial probability matrix calculations to identify the mathematically optimal move on each turn.

Why does the solver tell me to click an impossible cell? Doesn't it mean I waste a click on a cell that cannot contain a Red sphere?

The solver calculates total Expected Value (EV) across all remaining valid board layouts rather than taking low-probability guesses. This can be noticed when your first recommended click is a Blue sphere — the next recommendation will be an impossible cell. This can be explained by the fact that this cell narrows down possible configurations and leads to a higher total EV after the cell is revealed. Basically, it allows you to pinpoint remaining high-value spheres with higher certainty on your next turn.
